My views on sport

Everyone has his own views on sports. Someone told that sports game is a war. Your rival is your enemy. You must beat them on the stadium. Someone held the view that sport is entertainment. People could relax themselves from their heavy work. And someone see sport as business. Substantive TV revenue and famous stars who can got a good pay means the whole story of sports. But in my opinion, sport represents exceeding, popular and enthusiasm.

As slogan of the Olympic Games, “Higher, faster, stronger” is the true meaning of sport. When you take part in a dash game, you must have got the experience that you have used all your strength to sprint and what you wanted was to exceed the limit of the body. To break your own record is more valuable than to win a game. And the pressure to win a game will knock you down. The only rival you need to face is yourself. When you conquer yourself, you have succeeded. As Pele said, ”The best goal is the next goal. ”

Sport is popular. It is not equal to the professional sports game. Thousands of teams who play street basketball are more important than the Shanghai Sharks to this city. Because more people exercises through the street basketball games and gets the benefit. Popular are not only spectators, but also participants.

Enthusiasm is also necessary to the sport. Players pay more attention on the high salary and business advertisements than the matches. The business hurt the leagues and the European Cup. On the contrary, players in South American have more enthusiasm. They like flamboyant dribbling, quick attacking and more goals. So they have more players who really like this game and their audiences will be more zealous.

For all these aspects, I think, sport is a popular game that represents the dream that people want to exceed themselves with great enthusiasm.
